What we do - INTEGRATION TO PROVIDER EHR

etHIN works with you and your EHR vendor to implement an interface that allows health information to flow seamlessly between your EHR and the HIE, providing crucial medical data to the right people at the right place at the right time, allowing your patients to receive the treatment they need.  The data flow can be either uni-directional or bi-directional, depending on your information needs.

etHIN participants are expected to share data with other participants through the HIE for the benefit of the patient.  Health information exchange helps facilitate coordinated patient care, reduces duplicative treatments, and helps avoid costly mistakes, all of which improve the quality of patient care.
